Blue Lake Tax District- 2011
The North Stonington Citizens Land Alliance received a letter May 19, 2011 thanking us for the water testing we do on Blue Lake. “The results show that the lake water quality continues to be very clean.”
Water Testing information:
- Lake water samples delivered to URI for analysis for the last 6 years. www.uri.edu/ce/wq/ww/
- Bacteria samples taken in May, July & October

Recommended limit is 61 Enterococci/100ml
- Chlorophyll samples and water clarity readings taken 10 times between May and October.
