This preserve is bounded on two sides by Silex Brook as it empties into Long Pond. The preserve has significant wetlands and is an important wildlife habitat. The land was a gift of Harold and Beverly Ives in 1999 because their grandchildren were concerned that the frogs have a place to live.
Head north on Route 2 to the flyover highway and take the exit to Route 214/Lantern Hill Rd.. Turn left onto Lantern Hill Road and drive approximately 1.5 miles . The preserve is on the right.
